About

Duality runs through Sara Jin Mi’s design language. Her Danish upbringing intertwines with her South Korean heritage, creating a subtle dialogue between playfulness and refinement, spontaneity and tradition.

She works with 18K gold, diamonds, sapphires, and opals – materials chosen for their character rather than their perfection. Each piece is shaped by hand, allowing the natural edges and textures of the metals and gemstones to guide the final form. Irregularities are not corrected but welcomed, revealing the material’s own story and origin.

Though each piece stands on its own, her work is united by a balance of understated luxury and relaxed simplicity – jewelry meant to be lived in, not just looked at.

Sara Jin Mi established her jewelry brand in 2020. She lives in Copenhagen and works from her atelier near Kgs. Nytorv, in the heart of the city.

Materials & Care

Nearly all of the jewelry in Sara Jin Mi’s collections is crafted from 18K gold, with a few pieces made from sterling silver. The collections also feature designs incorporating opals, pearls, beryls, tourmalines, sapphires, and natural-colored diamonds. Custom pieces in 14K gold, white gold, or gold sourced from heirloom jewelry can be made to order.

Since the jewelry is intended for daily wear, it may be subject to damage or minor scratches over time. Regular inspections by a professional are recommended, especially for pieces containing gemstones. It’s also advisable to avoid exposing your jewelry to soaps, creams, and other chemicals.

For maintenance, you can polish your jewelry with a dry, impregnated cleaning cloth or clean it with a soft toothbrush soaked in warm water mixed with dishwashing liquid. Opals, corals, and pearls are particularly sensitive and should be kept away from all chemicals. When not in use, store these pieces in a dry, padded environment to protect them.
